The Vyborg diocese gathered school leaders in the Leningrad region to talk about education and traditional valuestranslated

On October 16, a traditional regional seminar was held at the Okunevaya recreation center on issues of spiritual and moral education, preservation of traditional values and interaction of the Church with the educational community.

This year the topic of the meeting was “Implementation of Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of November 9, 2022 No. 809 “On approval of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the Preservation and Strengthening of Traditional Russian Spiritual and Moral Values”: experience and prospects.”

The event brought together the heads of state and municipal educational organizations of the Leningrad region, representatives of the regional committee of general and vocational education, regional education committees, the teaching community and the clergy of the Vyborg diocese.

The annual seminar has already become a good tradition and one of the expected events for heads of educational institutions in the region. School directors value these meetings for the opportunity to exchange professional experience, discuss current issues of upbringing and education, and meet with colleagues and representatives of the Church in an atmosphere of open and interested communication.
