Second day of the XVIII military-patriotic sports rally of Orthodox youthtranslated

On June 23, the XVIII military-patriotic sports rally of Orthodox youth continued its work at the base of the border detachment of the city of Polotsk. The second day of events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the feat of border guards during the Great Patriotic War and the 910th anniversary of the repose of St. Mina of Polotsk turned out to be no less eventful than the starting one.
The central event of the morning was a song and formation competition, in which teams competed in the precision of their commands and the coherence of their march. The performance of a military orchestra gave the moment a special solemnity, creating a feeling of involvement in military traditions among the participants and guests of the rally.
In the afternoon, sports competitions took place on the parade ground. Young people showed their strength, agility and endurance in team relay races and outdoor exercises. An atmosphere of healthy competition and mutual assistance reigned at the venues until the evening.
The day ended with a common evening prayer, summing up the spiritual outcome of the hours lived. The rally continues its work, combining physical development with strengthening faith and memory of the heroic past of the Fatherland.
