Meeting of a priest with children in Letunovotranslated

On November 4, in the MBUCD “Victory” (Village of Letunovo, MS Zaraysk), a meeting was held between the cleric of the Assumption Church in the village of Rozhnovo, Priest Maxim Prudnikov, and the children “Light in the Heart”, timed to coincide with the Day of National Unity and the celebration of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Father Maxim spoke about the history of National Unity Day and emphasized that unity begins with the family and its traditions. Then they talked about St. Seraphim of Sarov: his life, how important it is to be a kind and bright person. They also said how valuable it is to know and honor the traditions of the Russian people, to remember the exploits and wisdom of their ancestors. The children talked about their family traditions. Next, Father Maxim answered the children’s questions. At the end, those present watched the animated film “The Extraordinary Journey of Seraphim.”
