Meeting of the abbot of the monastery with college studentstranslated

At the Sargat Museum of History and Local Lore, a meeting was held between 1st year students of the Sargat Industrial Pedagogical College and the abbot of the Sargat St. Nicholas Monastery, Abbot Seraphim (Maksimov).

The event was dedicated to the 600th anniversary of the founding of the first monastic settlement on the Solovetsky archipelago (1429–2029), the role of the monastery in the life of the North and Russia, as well as the memory of the new martyrs and confessors of Solovetsky.
