In the Rilskata monastery of light, there was a continued solemn celebration, illumination on the 1150th anniversary of his birth and 1080th anniversary of his dormition as a venerable and God-bearing father, Ioan Rilski the Wonderworker - the heavenly patron of the Bulgarian people.

On the 18th of October in the evening at the Rila Manastir, an all-night vigil was held, which established the tradition of honoring the great saint of God.
