Dioqeza e Vranjës do të themelojë Muzeun e Thesarit për trashëgiminë kishtarepërkthyer

Dioqeza e Vranjës do të krijojë një muze të ri thesari në oborrin e Katedrales së Trinisë së Shenjtë në Vranje, duke ruajtur dhe shfaqur trashëgiminë e pasur kishtare të Serbisë jugore.

Financimi për ndërtimin dhe mobilimin e objektit, i cili do të përfshijë pesë dhoma, është siguruar nga Ministria e Kulturës e Serbisë.

Sipas Mitropolitit Pahomije të Vranjës, thesari do të shfaqë një ekspozitë të përhershme që shfaq artefakte të vlefshme nga kishat dhe manastiret në të gjithë dioqezën e Vranjës. Punimet në ambientet e brendshme pritet të përfundojnë deri në fund të vitit, ndërsa hapja zyrtare është planifikuar për vitin e ardhshëm.

“Thesari do të ketë një ekspozitë të përhershme dhe do të ekspozojë objekte nga të gjitha kishat dhe manastiret e Dioqezës së Vranjës”, tha Mitropoliti Pahomije.

Ministri serb i Kulturës Nikola Selakoviq vuri në dukje se projekti vlerësohet në nëntë milionë dinarë dhe pohoi se ministria do të vazhdojë të investojë në iniciativat kulturore dhe të trashëgimisë në qytetin e Vranjës.

I remember our parish's old icon case in the narthex had to be moved because the room was too small—five rooms for the Vranje treasury sounds like a real blessing for displaying all those treasures properly.

Yeah, that flooded narthex mess was a headache for everybody. Our storage at St. George’s is still the same old closet off the altar—hope the diocese spreads some of those ministry funds our way before next winter hits. You think they’d prioritize the older parishes first?

Our old narthex case at St. George’s here in Dallas always felt like it was one more 19th-century icon away from bursting too. Five dedicated rooms in Vranje should finally let those southern Serbian pieces breathe instead of getting shoved in the sacristy like we did after last year’s leak. Yeah, that flooded narthex really did a number on those icons last winter. Our place still uses that same damp cupboard behind the iconostasis, so I get the worry. Do you reckon the diocese might look at fixing the roof at St George's first before splashing out on fancy museums?
