La diócesis de Vranje creará el Museo del Tesoro para el patrimonio eclesiásticotraducido

La Diócesis de Vranje establecerá un nuevo museo del tesoro en el patio de la Catedral de la Santísima Trinidad en Vranje, preservando y mostrando el rico patrimonio eclesiástico del sur de Serbia.

El Ministerio de Cultura de Serbia ha financiado la construcción y el equipamiento de las instalaciones, que incluirán cinco habitaciones.

Según el metropolitano Pahomije de Vranje, el tesoro contará con una exposición permanente que mostrará valiosos artefactos de iglesias y monasterios de toda la diócesis de Vranje. Se espera que las obras en el interior concluyan a finales de año, mientras que la inauguración oficial está prevista para el próximo año.

"El tesoro tendrá una exposición permanente y exhibirá objetos de todas las iglesias y monasterios de la diócesis de Vranje", dijo el metropolitano Pahomije.

El ministro serbio de Cultura, Nikola Selaković, señaló que el proyecto está valorado en nueve millones de dinares y afirmó que el ministerio seguirá invirtiendo en iniciativas culturales y patrimoniales en la ciudad de Vranje.

I remember our parish's old icon case in the narthex had to be moved because the room was too small—five rooms for the Vranje treasury sounds like a real blessing for displaying all those treasures properly.
