Prikhody.ru 09/21/2026. Work on the installation of the monument to St. Luke (Voino-Yasenetsky) is being carried out in the urban-type settlement of Bolshaya Murta (Krasnoyarsk Territory). The foundation for the monument is currently being created. The place for erecting the monument was chosen opposite the building of the surgical building of the regional hospital, where in 1940-1941, while in exile, the saint of God and an outstanding doctor operated.

As the press service of the Yenisei diocese reports, heavy sculpture requires a solid foundation designed for the climatic conditions of the region. The work is carried out by qualified specialists in compliance with all necessary technologies. The area around the monument is already paved with paving slabs. The plans are to supplement the space with benches, lanterns and flower beds, so that the place of memory of the saint becomes comfortable and well-appointed for visiting residents and guests of the village.
