I didn't bake cakes for the celebration in kindergartens, but once I brought candles and icons to the children from our parish kindergarten in Podgorica, so they drew them all week. I haven't been to Volgograd, but I'm glad that they immediately showed them that icon at the entrance, right next to the candles - the children remember it easier later. I only baked cakes for the celebration in our parish kindergarten here in Kragujevac, one with walnuts and honey, so the children ate them after the prayer service.
