Pupils of Sunday schools of the Makhachkala diocese took part in the interreligious intellectual game “United in Diversity”translated

On November 5, 2026, in Makhachkala, in the Historical Park “Russia is My History”, as part of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the interreligious intellectual game “United in Diversity” was held.

The event was organized by the Ministry of National Policy and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan together with the Historical Park “Russia - My History” in Makhachkala.

With the blessing of Archbishop Varlaam of Makhachkala and Derbent, the organizers and participants of the brain ring were greeted by the rector of the Prince Vladimir Church of the capital of Dagestan, Priest Vladimir Filchakov.

The game was attended by 10 teams, each of which included pupils of Sunday schools at the churches of the Makhachkala diocese (Makhachkala, Derbent, Kaspiysk, Izberbash and Khasavyurt) and students of the mosque schools of the Muftiate of the Republic of Dagestan.

Based on the results of five rounds (“Warm-up”, “Dagestan”, “Blitz”. “History of Russia”, “Black Box”), three winning teams were determined. Their participants were awarded certificates of honor and memorable gifts.
