Prikhody.ru 10/28/2026. A computer literacy and information ministry circle was opened at a Sunday school at the Church of the Prophet Elijah in Koltushi (Leningrad Region). The new direction combines the study of modern digital technologies with practical activities for the benefit of the parish community.

Pupils master working with a computer and are gradually preparing to participate in the information life of the church, according to the diocese’s public page. During the first lessons, the children became familiar with the structure of a computer and the rules of safe operation, and learned to use the keyboard, mouse and operating system desktop. Each student has already created their own folders for storing photographs, texts and video materials. Children also began to master Internet browsers, searching and saving information.

Particular attention in the circle is paid to practical projects. During the school year, the students plan to prepare holiday videos for Mother’s Day, the Nativity of Christ and Easter, create a photo archive of the church and Sunday school, and also try their hand at preparing publications for parish social networks.
