Pupils of the Cossack class of the city of Sharypovo visited the Holy Trinity Cathedral on the eve of the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Marytranslated

On the eve of the great Orthodox holiday - the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary - students of the Cossack class named after Ataman Miloslav Koltsov, together with their mentor Alexei Elisov, visited the Holy Trinity Cathedral in the city of Sharypovo, where they were given an educational out-of-class lesson.
Assistant rector Pavel Frolov told the Cossacks in an accessible manner about the history of the establishment of the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, about the aspirations and hopes with which believers turn to the Most Holy Theotokos, and how it is customary to celebrate this day in the Orthodox tradition.
Pavel Frolov presented each student with memorable brochures about the holiday.
“It’s one thing to read about the holiday in textbooks, and quite another to hear about it where the Most Holy Theotokos hears the prayers of our relatives,” the guys share their impressions. The keen interest of the Cossacks resulted in many deep and meaningful questions, to which they received detailed answers. According to mentor Alexei Elisov, such events are the best way to instill in children not only a love for the Cossacks, but also a deep respect for their Orthodox roots.
