Sunday school at the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary opens a new school seasontranslated

Sunday school in honor of Saints Cyril and Methodius at the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos opens a new school season. According to tradition, the cathedral’s full-time cleric, the spiritual director of the Sunday school, Priest Alexander Vetrov, students and parents met after the Divine Liturgy to perform a prayer service for the beginning of the school year.

Teachers and mentors wish their beloved family in Christ spiritual growth, increased love and joy with each upcoming Sunday meeting within the walls of Sunday school. The pupils and their parents, in turn, offer prayers to Saints Cyril and Methodius, Equal-to-the-Apostles, asking for their intercession and help in understanding the foundations of the Orthodox faith.
