Question to the Bishop. New answerstranslated

Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky answers
I am studying theological courses at the seminary. One of the teachers is very confusing when he speaks enthusiastically about Catholics, but not very well about Orthodoxy. He scolds that there are no changes in the Liturgy, and that it is high time to conduct it entirely in Russian alone. There are no amenities, as in Catholic cathedrals, for any parishioner to sit, and so on. His subject is called “Non-Christian Religions,” but for two classes now we have been hearing that everything is better in the West. Offers reading explanations of the Gospel from Catholic bishops of our time. What to do?

I advise you not to listen to such teachers, to read normal textbooks and patristic interpretations generally recognized by the Church.
