On November 1, at the adult Sunday school at the Church of the Nativity of Christ in the city of Krasnoyarsk, where the study of the Holy Scriptures takes place as part of the Patriarchal program “Explore the Scriptures,” a thematic meeting was held dedicated to the upcoming 80th anniversary of the birth of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'.

During the meeting, the head of the sector for interaction with higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the field of spiritual and moral education of the department of religious education and catechesis of the Krasnoyarsk diocese, Hieromonk Martin (Romanov), told the audience about the life path of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, his many years of pastoral and preaching service, personal dedication and work on church administration. Particular attention was paid to the role of His Holiness the Patriarch in restoring the canonical unity of the Russian Orthodox Church with the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia in 2007, the development of church presence in the media and the Internet, work with youth, as well as the establishment and improvement of modern structures of church governance.
