A meeting of students with a priest took place at the Vsevolozhsk Technical Schooltranslated

On October 23, Deputy Chairman of the Missionary Department of the Vyborg Diocese, rector of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara in the village of Rakhya, Priest Oleg Patrikeev visited the Vsevolozhsk Technical School of Industrial Technologies.

During the visit, Father Oleg consecrated the territory of the Quantorium and met with students of the educational institution.

Father Oleg told the students about the Christian understanding of sanctification, explained the meaning of the church tradition of blessing residential buildings, classrooms, vehicles and other places associated with a person’s daily life. The priest paid special attention to the fact that sanctification presupposes the responsibility of the person himself for his actions. According to Father Oleg, every Christian is called to sanctify the space around him through his own deeds, attitude towards others, conscientious work and the desire to live according to the commandments of God.
