Attention to the media: accreditation has opened for the XVII Interregional Conference on Church Social Ministrytranslated

With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, the XVII Interregional Conference on Church Social Ministry will be held on October 27-30, 2026 in Yekaterinburg. More than 300 people will take part in the forum - those responsible for church charity in the Urals Federal District, representatives of NGOs, social and medical institutions in the region.

Accreditation of media representatives will take place until 17:00 on October 27, 2026.

Representatives of 16 dioceses of the Ural Federal District will arrive in Yekaterinburg to participate in the conference.

More than 25 sessions and events await conference guests. The main sessions will be held at the Ekaterinburg Congress Hotel (Bebelya St., 59). The private participants will discuss current tasks of social service, supporting families and women in crisis situations, helping the elderly, rehabilitating the homeless, helping those affected in Donbass, organizing pastoral care in hospitals, and supporting those returning from the front. Particular attention will be paid to the organization of direct targeted assistance, assistance to addicts, support for people with disabilities, the creation and development of volunteer services, and sisterhoods of mercy.
