The Ukrainian monastery "Birth of St. John the Baptist" in Ruscova-Oblaz, Maramureș, celebrated its patron on Monday, according to the unrevised calendar.

A cette occasion, la Sainte Liturgie a été célébrée par un conseil de 14 prêtres du Vicariat orthodoxe ukrainien, présidé par le P. Vicaire Marius Lauruc.

Le sermon en roumain a été prononcé par le P. le conseiller Ioan Iurcea et le père Marius Lauruc ont prêché en ukrainien.

At the end of the Holy Liturgy, the monastery church was surrounded by a procession made up of young people dressed in folk costumes, priests and believers.

The abbot of the monastic settlement, father Gurie Bocicorec, thanked the faithful for participating in the monastery celebration, offering an agape, as is tradition.
