The remains of 37 Soviet soldiers were interred in Velikiy Bortranslated

On September 30, 2026, near the village of Velikiy Bor, the remains of 37 Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War were buried.
The remains of the fighters were discovered by searchers from the Parichi detachment “Relay of Memory” together with military personnel of the 52nd specialized search battalion of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus.
More than eighty years after the end of the war, the soldiers found their resting place. It has not yet been possible to establish their names. Thanks to the search work carried out, the remains of the soldiers were interred with military honors.
At the burial site, Priest Evgeniy Novik performed a funeral litany and offered prayers for the repose of the fallen soldiers.
After the prayer, the ceremony participants honored the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the mass grave.
The mass grave near the village of Velikiy Bor will become a place of remembrance of the tragic events of the Great Patriotic War and of the people who gave their lives for their Motherland.
