Elderly people in Arad will benefit from meetings dedicated to dialogue and spiritual lifetranslated

July 3, 2026 · 1 min read

Elderly people from the municipality of Arad will benefit from meetings dedicated to dialogue and spiritual life through the "Words for souls" project. The first activity was organized on Thursday.

The initiative is coordinated by Father Alexandru Blaj, charity priest responsible for the pastoral activity in the old people's homes in the municipality.

The project aims to organize periodic meetings during which guests from different fields will dialogue with the center's beneficiaries, offering them words of wisdom, life testimonies and opportunities for reflection. Each meeting will be complemented by artistic moments.

The first edition had as a guest father Beniamin Lușca, who gave the conference entitled "Saints - friends of man and householders of the Triune God".

The priest showed the role of the saints as models of Christian life and intercessors before God, emphasizing that they remain close to those who call them with faith in prayer.

Through the "Words for souls" project, the organizers aim to create a meeting and communion setting where the beneficiaries of the center can find support and encouragement.
