A maternity hospital was consecrated in Zhlobin and a prayer service was heldtranslated

On October 19, the clergyman of the parish of the Church of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in Zhlobin, Archpriest Pavel Bondarchuk, visited the maternity hospital of the Zhlobin Central District Hospital.

The priest consecrated the premises of the maternity hospital, talked with medical workers and congratulated the women on Mother’s Day. In the conversation, he also spoke about the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos and wished the employees God’s help in their responsible service related to caring for mothers and newborns.

Then Archpriest Pavel Bondarchuk performed a prayer service for the well-being of family life, the peaceful course of pregnancy and the birth of healthy babies. Women preparing for the birth of a child joined the prayer.

Such prayer services in the maternity hospital are performed regularly - twice a month. After the prayer, those who wished received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

Addressing the expectant mothers, the clergyman wished them God's help, a safe birth, peace of mind and good health for them and their children.
