A spiritual and educational meeting of the personnel of the Russian Guard with the rector of the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael, Archpriest Roman Nesheret, took place in Zheleznogorsk. The event, dedicated to the Feast of the Intercession of Our Blessed Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, took place at the invitation of the leadership of the Department of Private Security of the National Guard of the Russian Federation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory of the Zheleznogorsk Closed Administrative Unit.

The priest dwelt in detail on the rich history of one of the most revered holidays in Rus'. He clearly, using an icon, revealed the iconographic features of the image of the Intercession, explaining how the main meaning of the event is conveyed - the intercession of the Mother of God for those praying. Particular emphasis was placed on the traditions of the holiday, which over the centuries have strengthened the spiritual foundations of the Russian people.

The meeting took place within the framework of the current cooperation agreement between the Zheleznogorsk church district and the leadership of the Russian Guard, which provides for regular spiritual nourishment of military personnel.
