In Zea, Missionary Meetings on Russian Culture and Spiritual Heritage Were Heldtranslated

Last week in the city of Zea, two missionary cultural meetings were held with a scientific employee from the Kurchatov Institute in Moscow, Master of Theology Valeriya Evgenievna Loginova.

On September 6, at the Church of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, a meeting was held on the topic “The Russian City of the Future.” In her lecture, Valeriy Loginova addressed the history of the emergence and development of cities—from biblical narratives about the first city built by the descendants of Cain to the formation of the Christian city, with its church architecture being an essential part.

On September 9, the meeting continued at the Children's School of Arts in Zea. Here, Valeriya Evgenievna conducted an interactive lecture on the creativity of Isaak Levitan—“The Search for the Reality of Spirit, Hidden from the External Eye.”

Participants of the meetings got to know the artist not only as a distinguished master of lyrical landscape painting but also focused on the spiritual side of his works, his striving through the beauty of the surrounding world to approach an understanding of the spiritual principles of existence.
