A concert in honor of St. Olav took place at Vyborg Castletranslated

On July 29, as part of the celebration of the day of remembrance of St. Olav, a traditional concert was held at Vyborg Castle for residents and guests of the city.

Valery Yushchenko, the vocalist of the legendary vocal and instrumental ensemble “Blue Bird” from its “golden cast”, performed before the audience. The program featured famous Soviet and Russian pop songs.

At the beginning of the concert, the chairman of the Missionary Department of the Vyborg Diocese, Priest Mikhail Kotov, addressed the audience. The priest welcomed the participants of the holiday and introduced the poet and writer from St. Petersburg Alexandra Petrogradskaya, who read an excerpt from a poem dedicated to St. Olav.
