The traveling exhibition “The Royal Crown”, dedicated to the imperial family of Nicholas II, is presented in the Ascension Church in the city of Istra. The stands tell about the glorious reign of the last emperor of the great Russian Empire, members of the august large family and their tragic death.

The exhibition also includes a stand dedicated to the arrival of the royal family to Voskresensk, to the New Jerusalem Monastery, in 1903.

Thanks to the diligence of the public organization of large families “All Together”, the exhibition has already been presented in several churches in the Istra district: Mironositsky in Istra, Georgievsky in Dedovsk, Nikolsky in Nikulino, Blagoveshchensky in Pavlovskaya Sloboda. Now it is available for viewing at the Ascension Church during its opening hours (Pervomaiskaya St., 5a).

“Tsar-Martyr Nicholas II with his long-suffering family is now included in the ranks of the passion-bearers. The greatest crime committed against him must be atoned for by ardent veneration of him and glorification of his feat” (St. John of Shanghai and San Francisco).
