The “Good Grains” Sunday school celebrated the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Marytranslated

On October 11, a holiday dedicated to the upcoming Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary was held at the “Good Grains” Sunday school in the village of Poldomasovo. The program included a concert, a theatrical performance and a creative master class.

The presenters told the history of the holiday, supplementing it with examples of the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, including during the war years.

The main event of the evening was a theatrical performance prepared by Sunday school students together with students from the Salman school. The plot is based on the image of the Intercession of the Mother of God as a symbol of protection: in the representation, it covered not only children, but also forest animals. The performance ended with a symbolic blue veil being carried over all participants.

In addition, a master class was held, during which the students made crafts on the theme of the holiday. They will be handed over to military personnel in the special military operation zone. In their works, the children expressed the wish that the Most Holy Theotokos would cover each protector with Her holy omophorion and protect them from all evil.
