Restoration of historical doors has been completed in the Resurrection Church of Oshmyanytranslated

A significant event took place in the Oshmyany Resurrection Church - the restoration of all three original doors was completed: the central one and two side ones. The church, which is the spiritual heart of the city and an architectural monument, acquired its original appearance thanks to the joint efforts of the parish and caring people.

Time has not been kind to the wood: cracks and gaps have appeared on the doors, and various defects have accumulated. However, the main task of the restorers was not to replace, but to preserve the historical heritage. The craftsmen managed to completely restore the paintings, while carefully preserving the authentic, original fittings that remember the history of the church for decades.

After eliminating all defects, the doors were carefully prepared and painted in a noble natural color, emphasizing the texture of the wood, and then coated with a protective varnish that will extend their service life for many years.

The restoration of the shrine became possible thanks to the philanthropic support of Oshmyany Meat Processing Plant OJSC. The company took upon itself all the worries and expenses for the implementation of this project.
