July 24, 2026 · 1 min read

On July 24, a patronal feast took place in the military church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Princess Olga and St. Peter of Athos in the village of Morye.

The Divine Liturgy was performed by the rector of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara in the village of Rakhya, Priest Oleg Patrikeev. At the end of the service, the clergy and worshipers made a religious procession.

Father Oleg thanked the commander of the military unit, Colonel Yuri Aleksandrovich Telegin, for his help in improving the territory of the temple. After the service, a common meal with Ladoga fish soup was organized for the pilgrims.

The Soyuz TV channel prepared a news report about the temple and the holiday that took place.
