A religious procession was held in Upper Ufaley in honor of the Baptism of Rus'translated

On the eve of the Day of the Baptism of Rus', a procession of the cross took place in Upper Ufaley, which annually unites parishioners of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. After the Divine Liturgy, believers walked in a prayer procession from the school to the worship cross on Mount Red Stone in the Zheleznodorozhnikov microdistrict. At the worship cross, a prayer service was performed to the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, the Baptist of Rus'. The rector of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Archpriest Alexander Gorodinsky, reminded participants of the spiritual and historical significance of the Baptism of Rus', emphasizing that the adoption of Christianity was a turning point in the history of our Fatherland, which determined its spiritual, cultural and moral development.
