The Uzden parish hosted a film screening and a sweet table for Sunday school studentstranslated
On November 4, 2026, on the day of remembrance of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, warm and sincere events were held for children from Sunday school in the parish of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the city of Uzda.
After the Divine Liturgy, the students gathered together to watch the cartoon “Brave David,” filmed in 2025 based on the biblical story of the victory of young David over Goliath. The story about courage and faith turned out to be close and understandable to children - after watching, the children shared their impressions and discussed the actions of the main character.
Treats were also prepared for the children - this added an atmosphere of comfort and celebration to the meeting and allowed the children to communicate in an informal setting.
Such meetings help children to become acquainted with Christian values in an accessible way and strengthen the sense of community in the parish family.
