Pregnant Day was celebrated in Ulyanovsktranslated

On October 7, a solemn event dedicated to All-Russian Pregnant Day was held at the public support headquarters of the United Russia party. The head of the diocesan commission on family issues, protection of motherhood and childhood, Archpriest Nikolai Arkhangelsky, took part in it.

The priest congratulated the expectant mothers and gave advice: how to receive a blessing before childbirth, how to properly prepare for the Sacraments of Confession and Communion, and how to learn to trust the Lord. The pregnant women were given gifts from the Simbirsk diocese.

For the first time, Pregnant Women's Day in the format of an event was held in 2022 in 16 regions of Russia. In 2023, it was declared all-Russian and is celebrated twice a year - in spring (April 7) and autumn (October 7).
