A conversation about the fifth commandment was held at the Turkish Boyar Schooltranslated

On October 16, 2026, the rector of the Church of the Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in the village of Turets-Boyary, Molodechno district, Archpriest Nikolai Peshko visited the State Educational Institution “Turets-Boyar Secondary School”.

As part of the Week of Parental Love, a spiritual and educational conversation was organized for students in grades 5-6 on the topic “Fulfilling the commandment to honor parents.”

During the conversation, Priest Nikolai noted that “honor your father and mother” is not just a moral injunction, it is a life principle and the foundation on which family and society are built. Honoring parents is an expression of gratitude to those who gave us life; to honor means to recognize this priceless sacrifice and respond to parental care with respect and love.
