A special shrine appeared in Tevriz - the mosaic icon of the “Holy Trinity”translated

A mosaic icon of the “Holy Trinity” was delivered to Tevriz, which will decorate the facade of the Trinity Church under construction and will take place at the main entrance.

The icon was created in Moscow by master Nadezhda Lavrentyeva. The diameter of the mosaic is 1.2 meters. Each stone is set at a special angle, due to which the image will shimmer in the sunlight.

The image of the Most Holy Trinity is one of the central ones in Orthodox theology: it reveals the unity of the Divine Persons and reveals the mystery of Divine love to which man is called. The mosaic, assembled from many stones, visually reminds us that the Church is created from many living stones into a single spiritual building, and the light refracted in smalt becomes an image of the uncreated light, enlightening the believers.

The Tara diocese expresses gratitude to the benefactors for their support of the beautification of the church and wishes them God’s blessing and help in their good work.
