The upper part of the walls of the Transfiguration Church was restored in Tavrankultranslated

In the village of Tavrankul, Chelyabinsk region, the restoration of the 19th century Transfiguration Church continues. Volunteers completed one of the most difficult stages of the work - they manually poured the armored belt at a height of six meters. The preparation took almost a year. The parishioners cleared the upper rows of dilapidated walls, restored the masonry and installed the formwork. The welded structure was manufactured and delivered from Chelyabinsk. Four cubic meters of concrete had to be lifted to a height manually - there was no special equipment at the site. 15 volunteers and two local residents took part in the work. Taking turns, they completed it in three hours and managed to finish before heavy rain. The restoration of the Transfiguration Church continues with the support of the parish of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior in Chelyabinsk, with the help of parishioners, volunteers and benefactors.
