The patronal feast day in honor of the Korsun Icon of the Mother of God was celebrated in the Holy Trinity Church in the village of Gorkitranslated

On October 22, the Holy Trinity Church in the village of Gorki celebrated its patronal feast day. On this day, the Korsun Icon of the Mother of God is honored, to which one of the chapels of the church is dedicated.

The Divine Liturgy was performed by the dean of the Kameshkovo church district, Priest Georgy Friedman, co-served by the rector of the church, Priest Elijah Mashinin, rector of the All Saints Church in the village. Eden of Hieromonk Savva (Voloznev) and Deacon Pavel Nikolaev. The sermon at the end of the Liturgy was delivered by Father George, he congratulated Father Elijah on his appointment to the position of rector, and said kind parting words to him and the parish.

On this day, for the worship of those praying, the rector blessed to open the shrine of one of the shrines of the church - the ancient icon of the Korsun Icon of the Mother of God.

At the end of the service, parishioners enjoyed a common festive meal.
