An open dialogue dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the city was held in Svetlogorsktranslated

On the eve of the 65th anniversary of Svetlogorsk, an open dialogue took place in the city museum of local history with the participation of representatives of government bodies, industry and the clergy.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Svetlogorsk District Executive Committee Dmitry Shabetnik, General Director of OJSC Svetlogorsk Khimvolokno Vitaly Osipenko and Dean of the Svetlogorsk Church District, rector of the parish of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, Archpriest Alexander Kisel.

The participants talked about their life and professional paths, shared their first impressions of meeting Svetlogorsk and memories of starting to work in the city. Despite the fact that each of them was born and raised in a different region of Belarus, Svetlogorsk became for them a place of work, service and the implementation of life plans.

Archpriest Alexander Kisel spoke about his arrival in Svetlogorsk and the beginning of his pastoral ministry. The priest also spoke about the activities of the parishes of the Svetlogorsk deanery, the participation of the clergy in the public life of the city and interaction with institutions, organizations and labor collectives of the region.
