The art marathon lasted ten days — from September 14 to 23, 2026. Artists from various Russian cities (Moscow, Kemerovo, Stavropol, Saratov, Bryansk, Nizhny Novgorod, and others), as well as from Belarus, came to paint the ancient monastery, the banks of the Volga, old trading rows, and the streets of Staritsa.

Nice that the painters from Belarus as well as from such distant places like Kemerovo or Stavropol could make it. I would love to see how those old trade rows by the Volga turned out – that's exactly the kind of place one remembers. I hope some of their paintings will remain in the monastery as a reminder.
