The stanitsa Vasyurinskaya celebrated the 83rd anniversary of the liberation of Kuban from the Nazi invaderstranslated

A memorial rally took place in the central park, at the memorial complex “Mass Grave of Fallen Soldiers during the Great Patriotic War.” The staff priest of the Assumption Church, Priest Evgeny Chukhachev, took part in it.

Representatives of government authorities, Cossacks, veteran and public organizations, residents of the village, as well as students of local schools gathered to honor the memory of the victims.

Exactly 83 years ago, on October 9, 1943, the Krasnodar region was liberated from the Nazi invaders - this is how the battle for the Caucasus ended. The occupation lasted 422 days. During this time, more than 52 thousand civilians died - old people, women and children.
