On November 3, at school No. 2 in Istra, a “Class Meeting” was held for 9th grade students with the rector of the Myronositsky Church, Priest Pavel Malkin.

The topic of the conversation was the events of the Time of Troubles and their significance for the history of Russia, as well as the history of interaction between the church and the state. Father Pavel told schoolchildren in an accessible manner how, at turning points in history, the unity of the people and reliance on spiritual values ​​helped the country overcome difficult trials. Particular attention was paid to the role of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God in the events of 1612. The clergyman explained that the list of this icon was accompanied by the Second People's Militia led by Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky.
