Why else doesn't it work?

Our parish mums were saying the same thing last year — the school keeps insisting “no tutors needed in primary,” but half the kids in Year 3 still can’t keep up with the maths homework. My sister ended up getting a uni student for two hours a week and it made all the difference without turning it into some crazy pressure cooker. Why do the schools keep pretending everything’s fine when the parents are clearly seeing the gaps?

The same thing is happening here in Yaroslavl. In the elementary grades, the teacher insists that everything is according to the program, and in the third grade my son was already mastering mathematics; my father and I both sorted out the homework until the night. I had to hire a student twice a week, and things went well. The school just can't seem to keep up with everyone.

At our school in Batumi, they say the same thing, that "a tutor is not needed", but my son could not cope with math tasks in the third grade. In the evenings, my wife and I would sit and choose, and finally we took a student girl twice a week — and she really improved. School often just hides a lack of time.

It's the same here in Constanța, the teacher says that the curriculum is sufficient, but the neighbor's boy in the block, also in the third grade, was struggling with the multiplication table. In the evening they stayed with his mother until late, then they took a pedagogy student for two hours a week and now it's easier. The school seems to have little time for each child.

Here in Constanța, just like in Gheorghe, the teacher keeps saying that "the program is enough", but my boy in the second grade was already struggling with assemblies with more than ten. In the evening we sat down with him at the table after dinner and he still didn't like it, so I took a female student from the University for two hours a week. Now he does his homework faster and we sleep peacefully.

It's the same here in Craiova, the teacher says that everything is clear in class, but in math many children fall behind already from the second grade. We waited until first grade with our daughter, then took a simple meditation for an hour a week and the difference was seen quickly. Did you try to talk directly to the principal about the pace of the class?

Yes, exactly the same is happening here in Sibiu. I talked to my son's second grade teacher and she said that "everyone is on time" but I saw that he was falling behind on the harder exercises. I started meditating once a week since February, and I quickly gained courage. Which subject made you think the most about your daughter?

Yes, I also spoke with my son's teacher in Sibiu, but she told me the same thing - that everything is clear at class. Eventually I took second grade math meditation for an hour a week and he started solving those more complicated exercises without getting stuck. In Craiova, did meditation help the girl in other subjects as well or only in mathematics?

Here in Iași, she did well only in mathematics with meditations, in Romanian the girl did well in class anyway. However, one hour a week is quite ok, it doesn't tire the child. How much do you pay an hour in Sibiu now?

It's the same here in Iași, the teacher keeps saying that "there's no need for meditation", but our neighbor's little girl kept struggling with the gatherings after ten just like your boy. In the end they took a pedagogy student, two hours a week, and now she does her homework by herself in half an hour. What subject did you first start with as a student?

The same with us in Chisinau, the teacher always says that everything is fine, but my boy kept getting stuck in additions and subtractions over ten. I started with a math student, two hours a week, and now she does her homework much more relaxed. What grade did the neighbor's little girl reach when you took the student?

Here in Timișoara, I started math meditations from the second grade, just like you, and it helped a lot with those exercises that were blocking the boy. Romanian wasn't needed, he could handle it in class. How much do you pay an hour now in Sibiu?

Here in Constanța, I started my math meditations since the second grade, because otherwise I would get stuck on those problems with figures. In Romanian, he went without it, like with your boy. How much do you pay an hour now in Timișoara?

Here in Timișoara, we started math meditations in the second grade, just like you, and it even helped with those exercises with fractions that were blocking the boy. He didn't need Romanian, he could manage on his own in class. How much do you pay an hour now in Sibiu?
