From September 11 to 12, in the Transfiguration Cathedral (Preobrazhenskaya Square, 1), believers will be able to venerate the shrine - the ark containing part of the relics of the blessed Matrona of Moscow.

Blessed Matrona is one of the most revered saints of the 20th century. Deprived of bodily vision from birth, she had a special spiritual insight: she saw people’s hearts, their pain and innermost thoughts. For her meekness, boundless love for her neighbors and willingness to help everyone, people lovingly call her Matronushka.

Saint Matrona has long been approached with a variety of petitions: for the gift of health, for the creation and preservation of a family, for the birth of children, for family well-being. Even before the official glorification, thousands of people flocked to her grave - and by their faith they received help and consolation.

The ark with the relics arrives in Serov from the Tula diocese - a land closely connected with the life and feat of the blessed old woman.
