The seminary hosted the first conference dedicated to church arttranslated

On October 22 – 23, the 1st scientific and practical conference “PRESERVATION, RESTORATION, ATTRIBUTION OF MONUMENTS OF CHURCH ART” was held at the Omsk Seminary.

The conference was held in person, including online participation, 19 reports were heard during the plenary session and the work of the section “Church fine arts and architecture: research problems and solutions.”

The conference was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Omsk Region O.A. Bezrodnaya, the head of the department for the preservation and state protection of cultural heritage objects of the Ministry of Culture of the Omsk Region O.V. Plushakov, the ancient guardian of the Omsk diocese Priest Vyacheslav Sukhovetsky, rectors and clergy of the churches of the Omsk diocese, employees of the local history museum (OGIK), the Museum of Fine Arts. M. Vrubel, local historians, representatives of the Society for the Protection of Monuments, the Museum of Russia “My History”, teachers and students of the Omsk Seminary.
