On the territory of the church in honor of the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos “Unexpected Joy” in the village of Kholmogorskoye, construction of a utility block has been completed.

The initiator of the work was a resident of the city of Sharypovo, Pyotr Zakharenko. Having discussed the need for construction with the assistant dean of the churches of the Sharypovsky district, Priest Vasily Popovsky, he received a blessing. The project became a common cause: donations and lumber were used to erect a building, and an entrepreneur from the village of Kholmogorskoye helped with sawing timber and boards. The main work was undertaken by parishioners and benefactors: they carried out interior decoration, insulation, delivered materials, landscaped the territory and planted plants. Further improvement of the surrounding area is planned to continue in the spring.

Assistant dean Priest Vasily Popovsky noted that the appearance of such buildings is not just practicality, but also a manifestation of Christian love and respect for man. The construction solves the issue of storing equipment and ensures the necessary sanitary standards. For a long time, the parish did not have basic household amenities, which created difficulties for believers.
