Dňa 23. októbra sa na teologickom seminári v Samare uskutočnil okrúhly stôl „Problém využívania moderných biotechnológií v ľudskom živote a spoločnosti v kontexte interakcie medzi vedou a Cirkvou“. The organizers were the Samara regional branch of the Russian Philosophical Society, the Samara Diocese, the Samara Theological Seminary and the Samara State Technical University.
