The premiere of the documentary film “Out of the Comfort Zone” will take place in Rostov-on-Dontranslated

On September 18, 2026, the premiere of the documentary film “From the Comfort Zone” will take place in Rostov-on-Don. The film is dedicated to the work of volunteers and sisters of mercy in Donbass and talks about what motivates people to leave their usual life and be close to those who are in trouble.
The plot centers on the stories of Irina, Euphrosyne and Sergei. Sister of mercy of the Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission Irina, instead of a quiet life in Moscow, chose to care for the wounded in Donbass hospitals. Efrosinya, a graduate of the St. Demetrius School of Sisters of Mercy, decided to go to the Rostov hospital to work where help is especially needed. Sergei became the head of a church help center in Mariupol, where hundreds of civilians turn for medicine, food, clothing, as well as legal, medical and psychological help.
The heroes and creators of the film will be present at the premiere. Among them are Irina Khudyakova, a sister of mercy, an employee of the Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission and one of the heroines of the film; Maxim Yakubson (Korolenko), director of the film, member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia; Natalya Letavina, head of the development department of the Patriarchal Humanitarian Mission.
