In Roshchino they prayerfully honored the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of Godtranslated

On July 9, the day of the celebration of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village of Roshchino. The service was led by the rector of the church, dean of the Roshchinsky district, Archpriest Dionisy Kholodov, co-served by the parish clergy.

For more than twenty years, the revered copy of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God, written no later than the 19th century, has been in the St. Nicholas Church. During the beautification of the modern stone temple, the image was framed with newly painted marks dedicated to the history of the shrine and the miracles associated with it.
