As part of the regional stage of the Christmas readings, a seminar was held “Spiritual and moral development of the individual: meanings, content, teacher tools”translated

On November 2, 2026, at the Spiritual Educational Center in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, with the blessing of Archbishop of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka Theodore, a practice-oriented seminar “Spiritual and moral development of the individual: meanings, content, teacher tools” was held. The seminar brought together about two hundred teachers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Elizov and Vilyuchinsk.

The seminar was held as part of the regional stage of the Christmas readings and became the common fruit of interaction between the Peter and Paul and Kamchatka diocese and the Ministry of Education of the Kamchatka Territory.

The participants of the meeting were teachers of preschool educational organizations and secondary schools, methodologists and other specialists in the field of education. The seminar was dedicated to improving the professional competence of teachers, sharing experience and developing cooperation between educational institutions.

One of the main objectives of the seminar was to reveal the cross-cutting nature of spiritual and moral education - from preschool age to education in primary school. The presented initiatives showed how a single educational trajectory can consistently develop at different levels of education.
