As part of the International Christmas Educational Readings, the international Children's Creativity Competition "BEAUTY OF GOD'S WORLD" is being held.translated

The competition takes place in two stages. The first stage is carried out at the regional (diocesan) level and can be divided into school and district. The second stage of the competition takes place in Moscow. The works of the winners of the second stage, selected by the jury, will be presented at the exhibition during the International Christmas Educational Readings.

With the blessing of Bishop Porfiry of Lida and Smorgon, the regional (diocesan) stage of the Competition is held in the Lida diocese from September 1 to November 1 of this year (school and regional stages).

Students of educational institutions (secondary schools, art schools, centers of additional education, studios, etc.) and Sunday educational groups of parishes of the Lida diocese are invited to participate. Responsible for conducting the regional (diocesan) stage of the Competition is the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Lida Diocese and the Lida Children's Art School of Arts.

Details and conditions of participation are posted on the website of the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Nice idea for the audition, especially since they also involve children from Sunday schools at the parishes. Here in Prešov, my acquaintances from the art school could also get involved. I wonder if it is possible to send a work with the theme of St. Cyril and Methodius, since we are in their diocese.

Yes, the contest seems well thought out, especially since it also involves the Sunday groups from the parishes. Here in Sibiu, we saw how the children from the art school drew biblical scenes with great love. I wonder if the regional stage in Lida also accepts works with local saints, as Veronika of St. Cyril and Methodius says.

Our parish Sunday school kids have been drawing Bible scenes for years, so it's good to see the contest officially welcoming them from the Lidskaja eparchy too. The deadline of November 1 gives plenty of time before the Moscow stage. Does anyone know if they accept entries from outside Belarus, like from our friends in Prešov or Sibiu who mentioned Cyril and Methodius or local saints?
