As part of the Week of Parental Love, on October 23, 2026, in the 10th grade of the Rakovsky secondary school in the Volozhin district, a lesson “Me and my family - without foul language” was held.

The rector of the parish of the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the agricultural town of Rakov, Archpriest Sergius Lepin, and the cleric of this parish, Hieromonk Maxim (Kudin), in a dialogue with high school students, discussed the role of the word in human life, the culture of communication, the connection between speech and actions.

During the lesson, it was said that a person’s speech is a mirror of his spiritual state, intellectual and moral development. “A good man brings forth good things out of the good treasure of his heart, and an evil man brings forth evil things out of the evil treasure of his heart, for out of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaks” (Luke 6:45).
