Festive events dedicated to Father's Day were held in the parishes of the Zvenigorod deanerytranslated

October 22, 2026 · 1 min read

On October 18, on the eve of Father's Day, congratulations to the popes were held in all parishes of the Zvenigorod deanery. Sunday school students prepared holiday cards and portraits for the fathers.

Father's Day is a public holiday dedicated to the role of the father in strengthening the family and raising children, officially established in 2021.

The responsible priest for motherhood and childhood of the Zvenigorod deanery, Priest Mikhail Ormanzhi, congratulated all the popes on the holiday. He noted that the Holy Scripture helps to understand the father’s calling: to be a protector, mentor and example of faith and love for children, and wished the fathers strength, wisdom and God’s help.
